This source is relevant because it talks about how the Boston Tea Party first started and how it begun. Also, it talks about how the saying "no taxation without representation" came into effect. It fits into my research because it talks about how the Boston tea party first started, it also relates to my research because it describes what they mayor of Boston and Samuel Adams thought about the Boston Tea Party.

This article talks about many things starting with the British and the taxes they put on the colonies, to put taxes on the colonies was a result of Britain not having enough money to pay for their own expenses so they had to tax the colonies to get money to pay off their debt. It also talks about the Stamp Act of 1765, and the Mutiny Act of 1765. The second thing this article talks about is Tea and The East India Company. This part of the article talks about how they shipped the tea over to the colonies from China, how they were packed, and how the East India Company expanded their trade over to India. Later, during the expansion, Britain took control over it. The fourth part of this article talks about the Tea Party movement itself. They say that anyone who bought tea would be considered "an enemy of America." This was a way to get people not to buy the British Tea. Also, they talk about what the first article talked about, how fifty Indians lightly dressed snuck onto three ships and dumped over 342 chests filled with British Tea. This source is relevant to my research because it talks about all the main points that were going on during the Boston Tea Party. They talked about trading, how it started, and all the acts that were put onto the colonies. This fits into my research because it gave me more of an insight to what really happened during the time of the Boston Tea Party, it also help me understand more about the Stamp act and the Mutiny Act of 1765.

This is an image of the event at the Boston tea party. It shows the colonists dumping over the tea and the English celebrating. This relates to my research because it shows the start of the rebellion at the Boston tea party. I know this because all of the people surrounding the boat are cheering for the "Indians" throwing the tea over board. This fits into my research because it gives me an accurate detail of what it was like to be there in 1773 when the colonists started to rebel.

This article is from a first persons account during the Boston Tea Party, his name is George Hewes, he was one of the 150 disguised colonists that boarded the ship to dump over the tea. He talks about where the tea was located, when they held their meeting to decide what to do before the tea landed, how and where he dressed himself to look like an Indian, and what their commander told them to do once they got aboard the ships. This source is relevant because it is a first person eye witness account to the actual event of the Boston Tea Party. It is also relevant because he talks about how the rebellion first started. This fits into my research because it was a first person account of the tea party and he talked about how it made the rebellion against the British start.

It also talks about the British Parliament, the British Government, and 150 patriots who boarded the three ships (50 people were assigned to each ship). It says that they dumped approximately 90,000 pounds of British tea being priced at around £10,000. This source is relevant because it talks about why the colonists were angry at the British for putting so many Acts on them.This fits my research because it tells me why the colonists were angry and wanted to rebel.

This article is relevant because it talks about how, as a whole, the Boston Tea Party helped start the beginning of the Revolutionary War. This relates to my research because It told me exactly what was going on during the Revolutionary War, and how in detail the Boston Tea Party caused it.

This article talks about the Sons of Liberty, the Sons of Liberty is a group,of colonists who opposed the British putting all these taxes on them. They didn't like them because they felt they could not be apart of the British Government so they did not want to be apart of it. In the article is says that the Sons of Liberty were basically the terrorist group of the 1700's because they did illegal things. This source is relevant to my research because this is the group of people who got together and said, we need to do something about all these taxes and British troops, and came up with the plan that is known as the Boston Tea Party. This relates to my research because it talks about the Sons of Liberty and why they did the Boston tea party, and who was involved, and how they did it.

It talks about his life, and the letters he wrote to Benjamin Franklin about the Boston Tea Party movement. He said that the new colonial America needed strict enforcement but not all of these Acts that were being placed on them by the British. This source is relevant to my research because Thomas Hutchinson was the guy in charge of the Boston Tea Party rebellion.This relates to my research because it talks about the person who was in charge of the Boston tea party. It also relates because it talks about why he wanted to rebel against the British while helping the colonists.
